   Stephen King est né en 1947 à Portland, dans le Maine.
   C’est la publication de son premier roman « Carrie » et son adaptation cinématographique qui le rende célèbre.
   « Carrie » est suivi par plusieurs best-sellers comme « Salem », « Shinning », « ça », « Misery », « Minuit 4 », « Dolores Claiborne » entre autres.
   Il vit avec sa femme Tabitha et leurs trois enfants à Bangor, dans le Maine, à l’endroit auquel il pense vraiment appartenir.
